Mercury Moves Into Leo

Today Mercury makes it's way from Cancer into the constellation of Leo, bringing confidence in speech. As Mercury breaks away from Cancer, we may experience vivid dreaming or psychic messages as a result. Allow these messages to emerge and bring along with them healing and peace. Leo rules our creativity, confidence, and self expression, while Mercury rules our communication. This pairing brings us a focus on the greater good and a higher goal, and helps us think of creative solutions to the problems in our life.

We become more confident, grand even, and goal oriented as Mercury transits through Leo. Our speech becomes more theatrical. We are all grand storyteller's while Mercury is in Leo. We may find that we have more confidence in our writing, speaking, and communication in general, and that we are more persuasive.

While we are all sure to enjoy a boost of confidence in our communicative life, be sure not to allow Leo to make us too self centered to stop and listen to what others have to say. Listening skills are known to suffer when Mercury moves into Leo, as we may become self-centered or overly assured of ourselves.

That being said, allow yourself to feed off of the positive aspects of this planetary position. If you have a fear of public speaking or have been suffering from writer's block, now would be a great time to work on overcoming these challenges with confidence and creativity!
