Mercury Enters Virgo

Transiting from Leo into Virgo, Mercury is about to make some changes in how we choose to communicate. Mercury moves into the sign of precision, work, and improvement on July 25th of 2017, and brings with it the need for precise communication.

While before communication was bold and confident, now precision in speech is king. Communication is all about improvement now, we seek to improve ourselves and those around us by what we say, and we say it in the clearest and most precise way possible. We become more analytical during this time, and we analyze or words and the words of others to understand fully what is being communicated in the world around us. We are good communicators when Mercury is in Virgo, as Mercury is the ruling planet of Virgo and feels right at home in the practical sign.

Details are more important to us now than they were when Mercury was in Leo. We are now focused on the details of what we say, what we mean, and what is being said to us. However, we must be careful not to be come too wrapped up in the details of what is being communicated around us. We don't need to bog ourselves down by being overly analytical during this time. We should also be carful to not become to cold and analyzing in our speech. While the facts seem very important to us at this time, the emotional impact and the emotional appeal of our words is important too.

Mercury remains in Virgo until August 31st.
