Virgo is the sixth sign in the zodiac. Symbolized by the virgin and ruled by Mercury, Virgo is a Mutable Earth Sign associated with the color green. Understanding how a Virgo sun, moon, or ascendent sign works in our chart is a helpful tool in understanding our astrological make up.

They like leading steady and practical lives and enjoy doing daily tasks such a running errands and balancing the checkbook. At times, a lunar Virgo can be known to nag if daily jobs are not getting accomplished on time or correctly. Lunar Virgos crave routine in their lives and feel unsettled with things that are unexpected. Slow to open up to new people, Lunar Virgo takes their time to form strong and practical relationships. However, when they become comfortable with people their dry humor and wit are well appreciated and they become anything but shy. Virgo is a charming sign with a lot to offer the world, so long as they warm up to new situations and see the potential in stepping outside of their comfort zone.
